Victoria Jago
Manager, Technical Design | Technical Apparel Designer
— With over a decade of experience in technical apparel and outerwear design, I specialize in creating elevated, performance-driven products that sit at the intersection of innovation, function, and refined design. My work focuses on translating creative vision into highly considered garments that balance technical precision with a modern, directional aesthetic.
Currently working within the design space at Aritzia, I bring a concept-led approach to product creation, exploring silhouette, proportion, materials, utility, and construction strategy from initial idea through final execution. My practice is deeply rooted in trend research, fabric and trim innovation, and technical problem-solving, allowing me to develop products that feel purposeful, elevated, and commercially relevant.
I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the design process, contributing across concept development, technical illustration, material sourcing, and construction refinement. I’m highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, and with experience in CLO3D, I use digital tools to support efficient development, visualization, and innovation initiatives.
My work emphasizes precision, collaboration, and forward-thinking design solutions, with a focus on creating garments where technical functionality enhances rather than limits creative expression. I’ve contributed to key innovations including The Super Puff₂O, a patented design reflecting my passion for merging performance-driven engineering with a clean, elevated design language.
