Clo3D Explorations - Outerwear

As Technical Designer, I led the exploration and pilot implementation of 3D digital development tools within Aritzia, including CLO3D and Browzwear. The work focused on researching the integration of digital prototyping into early-stage development to support fit validation, construction accuracy, and cross-functional alignment. This work was integral for evaluating platform capability for integration into technical design workflow. Below are some images of my favourite explorations during the pilot.

Puffer with Fur Trim

I was very interested to learn how to build and render fur in Clo3D as Technical Designer on Outerwear. Artizia offers fur trimmed puffers and full faux fur coats so this test was integral to assessing the program.

Colour Comparison

In evaluating both CLo3D and Browzwear, an important part of the assessment from a Design perspective was how colour is represented in system. This image also shows the difference in rendering visuals between the two systems.
