The SuperSnug Puff™

As Technical Designer on this franchise, I contributed to functional design integration, technical development, and trim system refinement across the platform. The SuperSnug Puff™ explored how a highly insulated down system could be re-engineered into a close-to-body silhouette without compromising warmth, comfort, or mobility.

The project focused on balancing thermal efficiency with a sculpted fit profile through refined pattern shaping, targeted insulation distribution, and streamlined system architecture. Construction and trim elements were iteratively developed to reduce unnecessary bulk while maintaining a clean, high-loft silhouette.

Emphasis was placed on optimizing manufacturability, thermal performance, and long-term wear comfort through considered simplification of detailing and refinement of overall garment system design resulting in a successful filing of design patents.
